Reported Stoke City target Djibril Cisse will not be sold on the cheap according to Marseille chairman Pape Diouf.
The Potters have emerged as possible suitors for former Sunderland striker Cisse, who is apparently not welcome at his parent club L’OM
The Frenchman’s transfer price is believed to be nearing £10 million, and Diouf has insisted that Cisse will leave for the right price.
“We will not sell him on the cheap,” Diouf told La Provence.
“Three conditions are needed to let him go: first of all a club must make an offer, then Djibril has to reach an agreement with them and finally L’OM must agree on the price of a transfer.”
“Prices on the marketplace change as quickly as the players' level,” he added.
Meanwhile, Marseille new boss Didier Deschamps has told Mathieu Valbuena he is not part of his plans.
