Rosenborg have admitted they will struggle to hold onto Mikael Lustig if West Ham come calling.
In the Norwegian media, fotbollexpressen.se are reporting that West Ham are fighting a number of clubs from Denmark and Holland for the young right back.
Lustig is currently representing Sweden in the Under-21 European Championships, and has agreed not to comment on his future until the completion of the tournament.
However, Rosenborg’s sporting director Erik Hoftun has conceded that his club will be fighting an uphill battle should the likes of Gianfranco Zola register a firm interest.
“We will of course keep him, but when the big clubs start to let hear from them, it can be difficult, "said Hoftun.
