Former Arsenal forward Julio Baptista has denied suggestions that he could return to The Premier League with Manchester City this summer.
Baptista, 27, is primarily remembered in England for a four-goal haul in a Carling Cup tie at Anfield in the 2006-2007 season but the rest of his brief spell at Arsenal was largely unremarkable.
The Brazil international enjoyed a productive season in Serie A last year though, scoring nine goals in 27 league appearances for Roma.
The former Real Madrid and Sevilla forward has now been linked with a possible move to Eastlands but Baptista is determined to remain in the Italian capital at present.
"I am not thinking about leaving Roma," said Baptista.
"I signed a four-year contract with Roma and I want to remain and help the team do better with respect to last season.
"Our aim will be to return to the Champions League."
