Sam Allardyce’s Blackburn Rovers have offered a three-year deal to Jerome Rothen according to French sources.
Paris Saint Germain star Rothen, who is a lifelong PSG fan who expected to hang up his boots at Parc des Princes, has announced he has been told to leave the club this summer.
The left-footed star is out of favour in the capital and he has been linked to various clubs, including Espanyol, with Rovers believed to be at the top of the tree.
Allardyce is a huge admirer of Rothen’s precise crosses, and the Premier League side have offered the former France international a three-year contract according to well respected source RMC.
The radio station claim that the Ewood Park side will be in touch with their French colleagues in the next few days in order to add Rothen to their squad.
