Young blow for Kerry

Kerry’s defensive problems show no sign of abating with the news that Killian Young picked up a shoulder injury in a club game at the weekend.

Young faces another spell out of action after he was forced off in the South Kerry’s win over Rathmore in the Kerry SFC.

It is feared that it may be a recurrence of the AC shoulder joint he damaged last month.

The GAA is the greatest sporting organisation in the world and to see 30 amatuer lads going out every week up and down the country is a credit. When you look across the water in England and you see the likes of this Ronaldo and this Cantona diving and carousing, it brings home to me how special the GAA is.
