New deal for Harte

by GAA staff , 04 November 2009

Mickey Harte will remain on as Tyrone manager until the end of 2012.

Harte's current deal with the county had been set to expire at the end of next year but he has secured a two-year extension from the Tyrone County Board.

Tyrone PRO Damien Harvey commented: "It was proposed and seconded, and there was no counter-proposal."

Harte took over as Tyrone boss in 2002 and has since led the county to three All-Ireland titles.
