Garcia fancies his chances

Players Championship leader Sergio Garcia told Setanta Sports that all his hard work paid off in the first round.
The Spaniard shot a six-under 66 to hold a two shot advantage at one of his favourite courses.
“I am putting some good rounds together it seems to be a couple of holes here and there which push me back,” Garcia said.
“At the end of the day, all you can do is work hard and I have worked hard on my short game and that is beginning to show up, so hopefully I can win.”
TPC Sawgrass has a fearsome reputation thanks largely to the island hole at the 17th, but Garcia is not intimidated having finished second last year and made a great start this time.
“This is the kind of course that if you play well then you can score, if you struggle a little bit then it is a bad course to fight your way around.
“It is quite similar [the course compared to 2007], may be the rough is a little bit thicker. The greens are a little bit quicker and it is firmer than last year but the course is playing similar,” added the Spaniard.
