Rabeni hit with additional ban

Leicester Tigers star Seru Rabeni has been suspended for nine weeks by the Rugby Football Union.
The Fijian centre was hit with a 14 week-ban in April for 'making illegal contact with the eye area of an opponent' during a Guinness Premiership clash with Saracens the previous month.
However, Rabeni played in three sevens tournaments during his suspension and has now been landed with another ban.
His new suspension will run from August 15 to October 16.
Tigers chief executive Peter Wheeler commented: “While we were disappointed that more mitigation was not taken into account for the fact that Seru had played in charity events, he has an absolute obligation not to play when banned.”
Leicester also confirmed that they will now be holding their own enquiry into the affair.
