Players deny move against Loughnane

The Galway hurling squad have denied suggestions that they met on Saturday and voted against the re-appointment of Ger Loughnane.
Senior players have indicated that Saturday's meeting was held to garner players' views and see if there was a particular direction the panel wanted to go.
Saturday's meeting was poorly attended with only half of the Galway hurling squad turning up in Athenry to discuss Loughnane's impending ratification as manager for a third year.
"There is a view among some players that the backroom team needs to be shaken up and Ger will be informed of that if he is re-appointed on Monday night," one senior player is quoted as saying in the Irish Times.
"But there definitely was no vote taken. There were only 16 or 17 players there and it was felt that there was no point in voting as that would represent the view of only about half the squad."
The player added: "I know there all sorts of stories flying around the place since the meeting but other than freshening up the backroom team there is no issue with Ger. It is up to the clubs to decide whether he is ratified and the sooner that happens the better."
The meeting to decide the former Clare manager's future will be held on Monday night in the Raheen Woods Hotel, Athenry and Loughnane is not expected to make an appearance.
