Setanta Sports to screen the Battle of Britain - Maccarinelli vs. Haye

-Not available via pay per view. £9.99 a month. No annual contract required-

London, 7 January: Setanta Sports has announced it is to screen the biggest British boxing bout seen in years – Enzo Maccarinelli vs. David Haye – exclusively live from The O2 in London on Saturday, March 8, 2008.

The world cruiserweight unification match sees Londoner Haye, the WBA and WBC champion, come up against the WBO champion from Swansea, Maccarinelli, in a domestic super bout that will be a must see for all boxing fans.

Setanta’s Director of Sport, Trevor East, said: “We brought boxing fans some of the best bouts from around the world last year and this is the first of many world class fights we’ll show in 2008. Maccarinelli vs. Haye should be the best British fight since Benn vs. Eubank in 1993, with two champions in their prime going head to head in front of a sell-out crowd.”
