Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp could be without the services of injury-prone defender Ledley King for a spell.

King pulled up suddenly during the Premier League match against Wigan on Sunday and was replaced by Sebastien Bassong.

The 29-year-old, who is believed to torn a muscle in his leg, looks certain to sit out the FA Cup fifth round replay against Bolton Wanderers at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.

"It looks like a bit of a tear," the Spurs boss admitted.

"Ledley was so solid during the match. He makes the game look easy.

"He is such a fantastic player. He gives a real presence to the team and a real air of confidence to the players and me. It is a bit of a loss, but Bassong came in and finished the job."

Meanwhile, Redknapp also revealed that Aaron Lennon is making good progress from his injury problems and is closing in on a return to first-team action.
