Sam Allardyce says Blackburn are struggling to get Junior Hoilett tied down to a new deal at Ewood Park.
The player is due to fall out of contract next summer but has yet to pledge his future despite being offered what Allardyce described as an 'outstanding' deal.
Allardyce is now urging the player to accept as staying with Blackburn will be the best move for his development.
"Hoilett has been here a while and knows the whole set-up but agents are involved and we can't get him to where we want him to be and that is frustrating," Allardyce revealed.
"If it is about money it shouldn't be at this early stage in life. If he is a success the money will follow. He will make himself a multi-millionaire really quickly if he plays well so it shouldn't be about money at this stage.
"
We feel we have made him an outstanding offer.
We just hope he will eventually sign.''
