Boss gets mixed news for cup replay

Stiliyan Petrov is set to miss Villa's FA Cup fifth round replay against Crystal Palace but Gabriel Agbonlahor should be fit.

Villa captain Petrov is struggling to overcome the effects of a virus which led to him being sent home from training earlier in the week and, with the Carling Cup Final against Manchester United on Sunday, is unlikely to be risked.

Agbonlahor was substituted in the 5-2 win over Burnley on Sunday after suffering a calf strain but is expected to be declared fit while defender James Collins is set to retain his place despite having six stitches in a head wound at the weekend.

Marlon Harewood and Nigel Reo-Coker remain on the long-term injury list.

The winners of tonight's clash at Villa Park will face a trip to either West Brom or Reading in the FA Cup quarter finals.
