Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is reported to be keeping tabs on Wolves midfielder Karl Henry.
Henry has impressed in the Premier League with Wolves this season and O'Neill could be lining up a swoop when the window opens again in the summer.
Wolves would be very reluctant to sell and much depends on whether they win their fight to stay in the top flight but an offer for the player could go in regardless.
Henry can also slot in at right-back and the player's versatility is a big plus for O'Neill as he keeps one eye on strengthening his squad for next season.
