Mucha raring to go

by Admin , 04 March 2010

Slovakian number one Jan Mucha can not wait to start his Everton career when the World Cup ends in the summer.

Mucha says his choice was easy when Everton became interested and he has agreed a deal to join the club in the summer when his World Cup exploits for his country are over.

The Legia Warsaw shot-stopper told the club's website: "I had many other offers but when I heard 'Everton', I felt 'this is it'.

"I could have gone to Turkey - there were two big bids.

"If I'd gone, I would have been a millionaire because the money they offered was staggering.

"But I would never have forgiven myself if I had not tried England; if I'd rejected an offer from the Premier League."
