David Nalbandian has joined up with Argentina's Davis Cup team for the match with Sweden after recovering from a leg muscle tear.
Nalbandian initially ruled himself out of the tie after sustaining the injury during the Buenos Aires Open last month but he has made a swift recovery and informed team officials that he would be available for the match in Stockholm.
"Captain Modesto Vazquez and vice-captain Ricardo Rivera confirmed that Nalbandian will be in Sweden for the Davis Cup," the Argentine Tennis Association said in a statement.
"Nalbandian will be included in the team in place of Federico Del Bonis."
The Buenos Aires Open was Nalbandian's first tournament since undergoing hip surgery in May and his return will come as a major boost to team officials, who are already without US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro and world number 27 Juan Monaco.
