Coyle forced into changes

Bolton boss Owen Coyle will be forced into one change against West Ham as Stuart Holden is ruled out with a broken leg.

The midfielder impressed against Wolves last weekend but picked up the injury playing for the USA on Wednesday night and is now looking at six weeks on the sidelines.

Either Tamir Cohen or Ricardo Gardner could come into central midfield to replace Holden or Coyle may elect to move Jack Wilshere inside and restore Matt Taylor on the left flank.

Elsewhere, Johan Elmander will be hoping to keep his place in attack alongside Kevin Davies following his wonder goal for Sweden in midweek but Ivan Klasnic is pushing him hard.

Mark Davies, Gavin McCann, Chris Basham, Joey O'Brien, Sean Davis and Gary Cahill are all still on the sidelines although it is hoped the latter will be back in training within 10 days.
