FA Cup semi-final line-up revealed

Fulham will play hard-up Portsmouth in the semi-finals of the FA Cup if they can win against Spurs in their last eight replay.

The Cottagers were held to a goalless draw by Harry Redknapp's men yesterday and must travel to White Hart Lane on March 24.

An inspired display by Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes prevented them from progressing at the first time of asking as he made a string of fine saves to keep out efforts from Bobby Zamora, Damien Duff, Brede Hangeland and Zoltan Gera.

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson couldn't hide his disappointment at the final outcome and fears his side may have missed the boat.

He said: "I'm only the more disappointed because it was a home game and the advantage now passes over to Tottenham because they will be at home for the replay.

"We're pretty evenly matched and I'm disappointed we couldn't get the goal that would have put us through.

"We were close at the end but, on the basis of the play, 0-0 was a fair result, although it was anything other than a dull cup tie because of the quality and commitment on show.

"The atmosphere was magnificent.

"I'm pleased we didn't lose as that would have been a bitter disappointment."

The Cottagers would face Pompey on the weekend of April 10th and 11th.

Chelsea are paired with Aston Villa in the other semi-final after they saw off Stoke and Reading respectively in Sunday's two last eight ties.
