Harinordoquy a worry for France

by JP Lonergan , 08 March 2010

France's injury concerns continue to mount as they look to complete an RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam, with loose forward Imanol Harinordoquy not training on Monday.

The back row star is recovering from a displaced vertebra injury he picked up while training with Biarritz on Friday and he missed the French side's game with Toulon as a result.

An osteopath treated the player on Sunday before he linked up with his team-mates ahead of Sunday's clash with Italy. He may be okay to play in Pairs though and will continue treatment, while sitting out training in the early stages of the week.

France have already lost Freddy Michalak for the game after he tore knee ligaments, so Biarritz scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili was recalled to the national squad on Sunday.

Montpellier fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc, meanwhile, hurt his knee in Saturday's win over Racing Metro but should be fine for the Italy game.
