Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has urged his side to put their FA Cup disappointment behind them and concentrate on the league.

The Potters were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals at the weekend but Pulis wants his players to focus on their Premier League exploits.

Stoke managed to rack up 45 points last season as they comfortably avoided the drop, Pulis' side are currently on 34 points with 11 games left and the Potters boss wants his players to pick up more points this time around.

"We've got to make sure we get back on track in the league and really drive on in the last 11 games to try to make the most of the back end of the season," he said.

"Can we get more points than we did last year? That's something good for the players to set their sights on.

"I think only one team in the history of the Premier League have accumulated more points in their second season than their first, Blackburn, but the lads have got to get to 40 points first.

"We mustn't take our foot off the pedal."
