Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful has been omitted from the squad for the Test series against England.

Ashraful missed the one day series, which England won by 3-0, and has now been left out of the Test squad after a poor performance for Bangladesh A against England.

The 25-year-old's place in the Test squad has gone to Raqibul Hasan, who hit an unbeaten century in the same match.

The two-match Test series begins in Chittagong on Friday, with the second Test taking place in Mirpur on Saturday March 20.
