Klitschko eyes Haye showdown

by Admin , 10 March 2010

Vitali Klitschko is hoping David Haye beats John Ruiz next month so he can take his WBA heavyweight title and 'shut his mouth'.

The 38-year-old Ukrainian will defend his own WBC heavyweight title against London-based Pole Albert Sosnowski on May 29, but is already looking further ahead to a potential bout with Britain's Haye, who defends his WBA crown against American Ruiz in April.

"I keep my fingers crossed that Haye beats Ruiz," Klitschko said. "Not because I like him, but I want his title and to shut his mouth.

"Maybe we (Vitali and brother Wladimir) will decide by coins who fights him. For Wladimir it is personal, but for me I want the title.

"My brother already has three but I have to clear it with him. I hope he listens to his older brother."
