Owen Coyle is facing a selection headache ahead of Bolton's game with Wigan as Sam Ricketts is out, while Fabrice Muamba is a doubt.
Wanderers crashed to a 4-0 defeat against Sunderland on Tuesday night but Coyle has further problems as Ricketts saw red and is facing a one-match ban while Muamba limped off with an injury in the second half.
Coyle is now facing a problem in central defence against Wigan as Gary Cahill is still missing but all being well Andy O'Brien should be fine to slot in alongside Zat Knight.
Muamba picked up a leg injury in the second half at the Stadium of Light and even though Coyle has yet to learn the full extent of the damage, the midfielder has to be rated doubtful.
