Scotland's Dougie Hall has committed himself to Glasgow Warriors for a further two years.
The 29-year-old hooker, who has been capped 31 times by his country, explained that he saw no reason to seek a move away from Firhill.
"We have the players and the desire at Glasgow to win the Magners League and it's something that I want to achieve in my time here," Hall said.
"Not only do I feel we have the ability to achieve success this season, but with the other players that have committed to the club, I feel we can continue to achieve in the years to come."
Unsurprisingly, Glasgow boss Sean Lineen is delighted that he has been able to hold on to one of his most prized assets.
"I think Dougie is a quality player. He is a real perfectionist and that rubs off on the rest of the team," he revealed.
"He tackles well and has so much experience. At this stage of his career, to sign again for Glasgow, just shows you what we're about."
In a further boost for Glasgow, Scotland A flanker Calum Forrester has put pen to paper on his first professional contract with the Warriors.
