Ricardo Fuller and Rory Delap have joined Stoke's lengthening injury list ahead of the weekend's clash with Aston Villa.
Fuller missed last night's 1-1 draw at Burnley with a back injury and Rory Delap was limping by the end of the match.
Boss Tony Pulis could now be without ten first-team stars for the run-in to the Premier League campaign, although he will get Ryan Shawcross back from suspension after the weekend.
"Ric fell over in the last few minutes of the Chelsea game on Sunday and jarred the base of the spine," said the Stoke boss.
"It's still very sore and it really will be a last-minute decision on Saturday to see whether he can play or not. We were desperate for him to play against Burnley, because it was one of those games he would have excelled in, because of the space behind their defence.
"
Rory got a kick on the top of his foot and we're hoping that will settle down.
We've got enough injury problems at the moment without picking up more."
