A dozen horses have been declared for Tuesday's Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle with Solwhit set to take his chance despite a late scare.
Solwhit emerged as a serious doubt for the two-mile championship following a dirty scope last week but trainer Charles Byrnes has decided to allow the six-year-old to travel to Prestbury Pakr although he will continue to monitor his charge ahead of the race.
Winner of the Irish Champion Hurdle, Solwhit travelled to Cheltenham on Saturday night and he will be joined at the course by the Noel Meade-trained Go Native, who is the current ante-post favourite for the feature.
Last year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner is in line to scoop a STG1million bonus if he crosses the line first and he will be bidding to give his trainer Noel Meade a first winner in the Champion Hurdle following his near miss with Harchibald in ???
Won In The Dark will take his chance for Sabrina Harty with Jumbo Rio standing his ground for Edward O'Grady. Joanna Morgan's Raise Your Heart completes the Irish interest.
The first three home in 2009 have all been declared with reigning champion Punjabi set to renew rivalry with Celestial Halo and stable companion Binocular.
The latter has been given the green light to run after being ruled out due to a muscular problem, while Paul Nicholls will be hoping Celestial Halo can go return to form and go one better than 12 months ago.
In addition to Punjabi and Binocular, Nicky Henderson will be represented by Triumph Hurdle victor Zaynar, the mount of Andrew Tinkler.
Starluck has stood his ground for Alan Fleming with Medermit the sole Alan King-trained runner in the field.
The dozen are completed by the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Khyber Kim.
