Harrington one off Doral lead

Ireland's Padraig Harrington is just one stroke off the lead following the third round of the WGC-Ca Championship in Miami.

Harrington made six birdies around the Blue Monster course and was in a share of the lead before tackling the par-four 18th, but a three putt meant he dropped a shot for a five-under-par 67.

Despite his closing bogey Harrington refused to get too downbeat and is looking forward to challenging for the prize on Sunday afternoon.

"That finish leaves a sour taste, but it has no effect on the outcome tomorrow, who plays the best is going to win," Harrington said.

"I putted all right today and I hit a good second putt. What can you do? I will take certainly take another 67."

The triple Major winner is on 11-under-par for the tournament, just one shot behind joint leaders Ernie Els and Charl Schwartzel of South Africa.

Els, who is looking for his first Tour victory in two years, held the lead overnight and looked in good shape as he opened with birdie four. However, he immediately relinquished the shot with a bogey at the second, one of three dropped shots on the day.

The South Africa recovered with a further four birdies to close for a steady 70.

"I felt a little uncomfortable on those shorter putts today. I think it could have been the breeze," said Els.

"I'm six foot four and I move around a little bit, or it feels like it. I think it was a bit of a weak point today and it cost me a little bit."

Compatriot Schwartzel was in superb form around the Miami course, picking up six shots on his way to a five-under-par 67 to ensure he is in the final pairing on Sunday afternoon.

Australia's Robert Allenby is a shot behind Harrington with Bill Haas a further shot back. Germany's Martin Kaymer, meanwhile, carded a six-under-par 66 to move to eight-under, one shot better off than Paul Casey, Vijay Singh, Soren Hansen and Matt Kuchar.

Elsewhere Graeme McDowell sits on four-under following a third round 70 while Rory McIlroy could only manage a one-over 73. He is now six-over for the tournament.
