Fox fitness hopes

Burnley have received a big boost on the injury front as defender Danny Fox has not broken his ribs and may be fit to face Wigan.

Following the home defeat to Wolves at the weekend the Clarets' plight looks to be even more daunting but Fox may well be fit for the clash at the DW stadium following scans on his injury.

Despite needing oxygen beside the pitch against Wolves, Fox is pushing to be fit for the clash with Wigan after a hospital check up and Clarets boss Brian Laws is keeping his fingers crossed.

He said: "I've spoken to Danny and he is settled and will aim to be fit for Saturday."
