Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak is being linked with a possible summer switch to Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old Poland international has struggled for first-team action at Old Trafford with Edwin van der Sar continuing to occupy the number one spot in Sir Alex Ferguson's plans.
And, with Ben Foster also waiting in the wings to become number one when Dutch custodian Van der Sar calls it a day, it appears that Kuszczak could be ready to jump ship in search of regular first-team action.
Kuszczak recently told the Daily Mail: "I don't know how much longer I can stay on the bench.
"I have waited for four years and I enjoy my time here, but maybe I need to change it."
Villa boss Martin O'Neill has reportedly targeted Kuszczak as a long-term replacement for current number one Brad Friedel, who turns 39 in May.
However the former West Brom man would still have to fight it out with Brad Guzan for the number one jersey at Villa Park if he made the move.
