Juventus are lining up an audacious attempt to sign Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to the Italian press.
Reports in Tuttosport say Juve have targeted the Gunners star as a replacement for Brazilian midfielder Diego who has been a flop since signing from Werder Bremen in the summer.
However the reports seem to be well wide of the mark as Juve will have little chance of luring Fabregas away from the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.
Fabregas may well move on some time in the near future but if he does leave Arsenal it will be for a return to Spain with both former club Barcelona and Real Madrid willing to pay whatever it takes to sign him.
