Burnley striker Steven Thompson has pleaded with the fans to get behind the players after they were booed off against Wolves.
The home defeat sees the Clarets fall three points behind safety in the Premiership and the team got the bird at the end of the game.
Boss Brian Laws also received some flack for taking off Chris Eagles midway through the second half, although his replacement Thompson scored Burnley's goal.
"You can hear it can't you?" Thomspon told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"They've got a right to voice their opinion. But from the players' point of view it doesn't help anybody when players' confidence is low anyway. It's disappointing. Really disappointing.
"I think they are getting frustrated.
"It's difficult as a player because you're frustrated as well, if not more so.
"We're trying hard to get out of this situation. It (booing) certainly doesn't help when you're on the pitch."
