Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is on the trail of Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, according to reports.
Speculation on the continent suggests that Allardyce made the trip to Eastern Europe last weekend to see the 21-year-old in action for his Polish side Lech Pozna.
Lewandowski's reputation is growing all the time and he has scored 26 goals in 48 games for his club, while he is also renowned for scoring on his debut having done so in the Polish Top League, First Division, Cup, Supercup, UEFA Cup and for the national side.
It's not known how much he would cost but Rovers are on the lookout for a new striker, with Benni McCarthy having joined West Ham during January's transfer window, and Franco di Santos due to return to Chelsea at the end of the season.
