Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins has a number of injury worries ahead of the massive home game with Plymouth at Glanford Park on Saturday.
Top scorer Gary Hooper is a doubt with the groin strain which has ruled him out of the previous two games and defender David Mirfin is unlikely to feature with a similar problem.
A groin strain is also leading to question marks over full-back Marcus Williams, he picked up his knock in the midweek defeat at Newcastle.
Captain Cliff Byrne will not featuring either as he sits out the second of a five match suspension which has come at a bad time for the Iron, who are now in the relegation zone, as are this weekend's opponents.
