Boss still troubled by injuries

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has a number of injuries ahead of the weekend game with Preston at the Hawthorns.

Defender Jonas Olsson was unable to complete the win at Swansea in midweek due to calf strain and is definitely out for the visit of Darren Ferguson's men.

Loanee Steven Reid remains a doubt with his groin injury and striker Roman Bednar is expected to be out for at least a fortnight with his thigh problem.

On a positive note, winger Jerome Thomas has responded well to treatment, but this game may come a few days too early for him to make the squad.

However, another wide man, Andy Slory, will be back in contention after missing the midweek trip to Wales due to family matters.
