Defender out for Crystal Palace match

Welsh international Neal Eardley will miss Blackpool's game with Crystal Palace on Saturday with a hamstring injury.

The defender picked up the problem in the defeat at Bramall Lane in midweek and is expected to be missing for several weeks, so Andy Butler is likely to take the stricken man's place.

There is better news for boss Ian Holloway concerning Stephen Crainey, after looking set for knee surgery just a fortnight ago, he managed to play the full game at Sheffield United and should be fine for the weekend.

Hameur Bouazza is still out, however, having not recovered from the groin injury that has been an issue since the African Cup of Nations.
