Aberdeen goalkeeper Jamie Langfield has dismissed reports boss Mark McGhee has lost the dressing room.
The Dons face Dundee United in the SPL on Saturday looking for their first win in 11 games, with questions surrounding McGhee's future and reports suggesting the players have lost their confidence in his ability as a manager.
However, Langfield claims the team are behind their boss and believes Aberdeen's plight is the fault of the players and not McGhee.
He said: "Talk of the gaffer losing the dressing room is totally untrue.
"
Every single player is behind him and there is no unrest whatsoever.
People who say that the gaffer has lost the players do not know what is going on in the dressing room.
"I can assure the fans that we are all behind both the manager and Scott Leitch. There is no question about that and the players are the ones who got the club into this situation.
"
We have no one to blame but ourselves and it is up to the players to do everything possible to get out of it.
"It's just that our confidence is down at the moment and we need to get that back. It is so frustrating and all the senior players know we are letting people down every weekend."
Aberdeen are currently eighth in the SPL table, with 30 points from 28 games.
