Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp says that Robbie Keane will definitely not be staying at Celtic beyond the end of the season.
The Republic of Ireland captain relieved some of his frustration at being camped on the Spurs bench by making a loan switch to the Bhoys on transfer deadline day and has since scored eight goals in eight games including a hat-trick in the Scottish Cup at Kilmarnock last time out.
Had he remained at White Hart Lane, he would find himself battling for places with Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Eidur Gudjohnsen. However, just because he rules the roost north of the border Redknapp says he will not be staying there long term.
He is due back at Spurs at the end of the season and Redknapp says he wants the player to be part of his squad again, despite the fact that the Glasgow side would love to keep him, while Aston Villa have also been heavily linked with a summer move for the much-travelled front man.
"I don't see us loaning Robbie out again," Redknapp was quoted as saying by the Scottish Sun.
"We paid a lot of money for him. So it's not something I see happening. It would obviously be up to the chairman but I couldn't see it being a possibility.
"I certainly would not want it to be happening.
"Robbie's only on loan until the end of this season as far as we're concerned.
"We want him back so in my mind there's no way of another loan deal."
