After seeing his side beaten by Armagh last week, Kildare boss Kieran McGeeney has made changes for the NFL Division 2 visit of Westmeath.

With talisman Dermot Earley injured, Daryl Flynn is partnered in midfield by Hugh Lynch, while in the half back line Morgan O'Flaherty comes back from suspension and there is also a start for Brian Flanagan beside him.

Old-stager Anthony Rainbow plays at centre-forward ahead of the ill Padraig O'Neill, while Robert Kelly plays to his right and there is no place for James Kavanagh.

Kildare: P Flood; H McGrillen, D Hendy, E Bolton; M O'Flaherty, B Flanagan, M Scanlon; D Flynn, H Lynch; R Kelly, A Rainbow, D Whyte; E O'Callaghan, K Ennis, J Doyle.
