Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has a number of key players missing headed by keeper Paul Robinson for Sunday's game with Chelsea.
Welsh international Jason Brown will continue to deputise for Robinson after he suffered a calf injury in the defeat to Spurs last weekend, while Mark Bunn can expect a place on the bench as backup after his recall from a loan at Sheffield United.
Allardyce has other problems in front of the goalkeeper as well with captain Ryan Nelsen sidelined by a knee complaint and Gael Givet nursing a groin strain.
The Rovers boss can also forget about calling on Lars Jacobsen and Vince Grella due to a hernia and calf problem respectively, while on-loan striker Franco di Santo is not allowed to play against his parent club.
