Dundee United welcome back Andy Webster for the trip to Aberdeen, but Damian Casalinuovo misses out with a hamstring problem.
The Scottish international missed United's Scottish Cup draw with Rangers last weekend as he was ineligible due to the deal which took him to Tannadice on loan from Ibrox.
Webster is now free to return to action and is expected to return to the starting XI for the trip to Pittodrie.
Casalinuovo will play no part as he has a hamstring injury, while defender Paul Dixon is also ruled out with an ankle problem.
Casalinuovo and Dixon join long-term absentees Lee Wilkie (knee), Danny Cadamarteri (calf) and Scott Robertson (groin) on the sidelines.
