On loan wide man Adam Hammill will miss Barnsley's trip to Ipswich on Saturday with a hamstring strain.
The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Liverpool, picked up the injury in the midweek clash with Nottingham Forest.
He was replaced by Emil Hallfredsson during that match and the Icelandic International will be his likely replacement in the starting line-up this weekend.
Luke Potter should continue at the back due to the ongoing injury of another loanee, Carl Dickinson of Stoke.
Boss Mark Robins is not expected to make any major changes after the midweek victory over Forest, having no new injuries or suspensions to worry about except that of Hammill.
