Celtic and Roma are thought to be weighing up whether to make a bid for Portsmouth's Nadir Belhadj, who is valued at £2million.
The cash-strapped club look set to be forced into the sale of a number of their top stars in the summer after entering administration.
With the club almost certain to be relegated this season the likes of Belhadj and Kevin-Prince Boateng look set to be allowed to leave.
Belhadj, who cost Pompey £4.4million two years ago, has had yet another good season, attracting the attention of a number of clubs including Roma and Celtic.
Portsmouth have the Algerian on the market for a cut-price £2million and are likely to receive plenty of offers for the 27-year-old when the transfer window opens.
