Manchester City will be without Joleon Lescott for the visit of Everton on Wednesday after he injured his hamstring against Fulham.
City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed the former Toffees defender will undergo a scan to determine the full extent of the injury but that it is unlikely he will feature at Eastlands this week.
"Joleon had a problem before the game in the warm-up, a muscle," said Mancini.
"I think he can't play against Everton. At the moment I don't know how long he'll be out. He'll have a scan."
Lescott picked up the injury in the warm-up before City's 2-1 victory over Fulham, a result which lifted them into fifth with a game in hand over Tottenham who currently occupy the last Champions League spot.
