Roberto Martinez has said he is confident the club can hang on to Victor Moses and James McCarthy for the foreseeable future.
The 19-year-old McCarthy has attracted the attention of a number of sides having broken into the first team this season and established himself as a regular starter having initially struggled following his summer move from Hamilton.
While Moses, 19, hasn't quiet managed to secure a starting spot in Martinez's first eleven there is a great deal of buzz surrounding the striker following his move from Crystal Palace in January.
With reports suggesting Wigan may have to sell one or two of their big name players in the summer the Latics youngsters are being linked with moves away from the DW Stadium.
However, Martinez has attempted to squash those rumours by insisting the pair will be at the club until at least next season.
"You will have ask the chairman [Dave Whelan] about that, but I think they want to play 60 games for Wigan and then move to the next level. They are not ready to move yet; they feel at home here," said Martinez when asked about their futures'.
"After 60 or 70 games I wouldn't stop them nor would I like to. Clubs like ours need to produce players who have not yet reached their peak and to then get the right valuation to allow us to go to the next level."
