Bolton are again being linked with a summer swoop for Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O'Neil.
Wanderers were first linked with the midfielder when former boss Gary Megson was in charge and now his successor Owen Coyle is also said to be keen on the player.
O'Neil, who has made 99 appearances for Boro since signing from Portsmouth appears to have played his last game for Boro as the Teessiders will have to pay Pompey another £1million if he makes 100 appearances.
Boro expect O'Neil to leave in the summer anyway so will leave O'Neil on the sidelines until they sell him in the summer for a fee in the region of £3million.
O'Neil would prefer to move back south which would make Fulham favourites to do a deal but Wanderers boss Owen Coyle would hope to keep him in the north if the club stay up.
