Foxes told to keep momentum

Nigel Pearson wants his Foxes side to maintain their focus and keep the momentum going even though they have secured a play-off spot.

The 1-0 win at Preston has ensured the Foxes will be in the end of season lottery but he wants them to keep their good form going into the final game of the season when they take on Middlesbrough at home.

"It is good to get in there but now it is not about relaxing. We have worked hard all season and got in there on merit, so it is go-again time," Pearson told the Leicester Mercury. "We have spoken about how we don't want to miss what is a very good opportunity. "

There are going to be some good sides in there.

We have beaten them all but we have also lost to most of them as well, so it will be very competitive.

We have some momentum and we need it because there are a number of sides who have some decent form at the moment.

"From the outset we have talked about trying to get into the play-offs but you can't sit back and relax and say we have achieved that now. It is about trying to get promoted again. It is effectively a three-game cup competition."
