Leicester City are set for a boost on the injury front as Matty Fryatt has been cleared for a return to first team action.
The striker has been out of the side since breaking his jaw in two places against Doncaster back in February but after a scan this week he has been given the green light to return to the side.
Assistant manager Craig Shakespeare is delighted with his return and thinks it will be a big bonus to City's play-off hopes.
"Matty has looked sharp in training," he told the Mercury.
"He has looked eager to please and what a great addition that will be for the play-offs.
"He has been one of our regular goalscorers over the past 18 months and it was an unfortunate injury to pick up just when he was on top form.
"It will be like having a new player back. He has been missed and it is great he can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
"That will be just the spur he needs that he could be back for the play-offs.
"He had the scan a fortnight ago and they wanted to give it another two weeks.
"He doesn't need another scan, it is all clear now."
