Mark McGhee has reassured on-loan striker Mitchel Megginson he does have a future at Aberdeen when his spell at Arbroath is over.

Megginson, 17, scored three goals for the Scottish Division Two side so far this term but is tipped to have a bright future in the game.

McGhee hopes it will be at Pittodrie and has assured the youngster he will get a chance.

McGhee said: "Mitchel will return to Pittodrie in the summer."

The Dons have released youngsters Jonathan Crawford, 20, and Nicky Clark, 19, however, with the pair told they have no future at the club.
