Dundee United will be without the suspended Jennison Myrie-Williams against Rangers with several fringe players set for their chance.
The Terrors will be unable to field defender Andy Webster against his parent club, while Peter Houston will be without injury duo Paul Dixon and Francisco Sandaza.
With Darren Dods also a doubt with a knee injury, the likes of Damian Casalinuovo, Kevin Smith, Andis Shala and Danny Cadamarteri are being tipped to start against the champions.
