Nigel Pearson is hoping defender Wayne Brown and striker James Vaughan will be fit for the play-off second leg clash at Cardiff.
The Leicester City boss was without both players for the first leg 1-0 defeat at the Walkers Stadium on Sunday as they were struggling with respective hamstring problems.
However, Pearson is keeping his fingers crossed that they will be able to feature at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday as they look to overturn their deficit and book a place in the Wembley final.
"It is too early to say if they will be ready," said Pearson.
"They both have slight hamstring problems and we will look at who has picked up knocks today and have a look at things in training."
He added: "It is one of those things where we have a strong squad and we decided to go without them, but it has been a squad effort throughout the season and we have another tie coming up very quickly and we have to win it to keep our season alive.
"We will have a look at it over the next couple of days and assess the situation."
